Phillip Clyde Bernier

Phoenix, Arizona -  The Miss Arizona Pageant will be held this year at Mesquite High School in Gilbert, Arizona, June 18th thru 20th.   The final evening of the pageant, including the crowning of the new Miss Arizona, will be hosted by Phillip Clyde Bernier.   You may remember Phillip from a show last year on ABC called "Dance War - Bruno vs. Carrie Ann."  It was a competition show in which the contestants had to both sing and dance at the same time.  Phillip made it through to the end of the show and was on the winning Team Bruno.

Since winning the show, Bernier has been living in Nashville, Tennessee, writing and recording his debut pop solo album, Do What You Dream.  He'll be debuting a song off of the up-coming album live at the Pageant on June 20th.  This will not only be Phillip's first live performance of "My Happy Song," but will also be his first national radio release.

He said of the song, "Most of my music has a deeper meaning, or a message, but this song I just wrote for fun because I love to dance, and it definitely gets me dancing!  As a matter of fact, it actually has a dance that goes with it that people can learn by watching the video."   MY HAPPY SONG was mastered by Tom Coyne [with current credits including the latest from Beyonce, Britney Spears, & Pink] @ Sterling Sound in NYC, which only adds to the excitement and anticipation of what promises to be the next summer hit.     Bernier said he is looking forward to more friends to join him on his MySpace page at www.myspace.com/DoWhatYouDream.  He has more new music there and will be adding video footage immediately following his Arizona performance, which is set to include ALL 20 of the MISS ARIZONA contestants assisting him in introducing the new song (and dance) to the world.  Tickets for the Miss Arizona Pageant can be purchased by calling 480-202-7980.
