Hello all!
I was just recently honored with the surreal opportunity to be the commencement speaker at my high school's graduation back in VA. (A big hello to all the PVHS peeps, past and present!)
It was kind of crazy to be back with so many of my former teachers... this time, not as a student but as the guest of honor. :)  I was most certainly honored, especially knowing that the graduation was held in the DC area, and there were so many more important people to choose from ahead of me to be the speaker.  It kind of felt like I won a Teen Choice Award. :)

(Quick side note: I was recently told that Dance War was nominated for one this year, so be sure to send in your vote!)

Anyway, I love being able to help and inspire people with my music and words, so this was fun for me, and hopefully for all who attended too. With so many new faces mixed in with the familiar, it was kind of strange and fun to feel like the new kid again, but I think I made some new friends outta the deal. :)

I'm back in Nashville now, recording more of my new music for the album and getting ready for the national tour! I'm looking forward to seeing many more new and smiling faces this fall...

I heard your speech was awesome!! I wish I could have been there but I heard great things. Btw...I definitely voted for Dance Wars on the TCA website (mainly because a fellow PV alum was on it... :-) )

Can't wait to hear more!

We know the good, we apprehend it clearly, but we cannot bring it to achievement. To presevere, trusting in what hopes he has, is courage in a man. Do you think so?

Stories from the road, Dance War flash-backs, what's next, what he had for breakfast. You know... the good stuff.
